This week's edition of GlobalBees' D2C Pulse features 3 companies. And all 3 are DSGCP portfolio companies: eco-home cleaning product brand Koparo, D2C home-gardening start-up Ugaoo, and India's most loved coffee brand Sleepy Owl.

This week, Business World announced the 36 winners of the Disrupt Young Entrepreneurs Award 21 which featured two DSGCP founders: Divij Bajaj of nutritional supplement co Power Gummies and Kabir Siddiq of D2C sleep solutions co SleepyCat.

Indian Retailer profiles 5 women founders, including Pallavi Utagi, CEO and Founder of DSGCP portfolio co Super Bottoms.

DSGCP portfolio co Mswipe wins "Excellence in Payments" Award at India FinTech Awards 2021.

Interesting to see one of India's largest CPG companies ITC take a minority stake in mother and baby care brand Mother Sparsh. The mother and baby category has lacked innovation for many years without a category specific brand. DSGCP backed The Moms Co in 2016 and recently excited to Good Glamm Group.

60% of packaged non-alcoholic beverages sold on the Singapore market contain high amounts of sugar and will be label Grade C or D in the soon-to-be-implemented Nutri-Grade system. Brands will have to reformulate and new #insurgentbrands will have opportunity to enter the market.
