Straits Times does a detailed review on the different brands vying for Singapore's, and the region's, plant-based alternatives market. DSGCP portfolio co Growthwell has a portfolio of new brands and products that they will launch in the next month.

The Indian Thrasio platforms continue acquiring niche brands as they look to roll up exciting companies in the 'house of brands' strategy. Still too early to say if this will deliver value for investors. Now Thrasio itself is looking to enter India (see next story).

In addition to the India Thrasio-clones, we now have Thrasio itself looking to enter the Indian market.

All the major brands including Starbucks, Burger King, Subway, and DSGCP portfolio co Chaipoint, are looking to open more stores post the COVID19 lockdown.
