More capital for India's Thrasio platforms. All of them will now be acquiring interesting small brands, which means exits for investors in the brands being acquired. What I will be tracking closely is:

1.what GlobalBees and others pay to acquire in terms of $ and multiple;

2.how they help the acquired brands scale; and

3.therefore what value they will create for themselves and their shareholders.

Many case studies will be written about this model in the coming years.

In addition to startup Thrasio platforms, we are also seeing successful vertical platforms raising capital to build a portfolio of brands. I know Darpan at MyGlamm and have been intrigued by his content-to-commerce playbook. With a real community, can MyGlamm and other platforms turbo-charge the growth of brands they have and will be acquiring?

Better-for-you brands continue to be acquired as CPG companies build out their portfolio in the category.
